You can see still remains of the squared Roman Wall around the old city. The medieval Jewish quarter, El Call, can be found within the Gothic Quarter. The street plan is a labyrinthe with many of the small streets opening out into squares and all traffic, taxis and service vehicles excepted, are not allowed to travel around the Gothic Quarter.
